Jumping in here (To rant) to say I had to roll back drivers for my Focusrite 2i4 First Gen on Windows 7. I was having issues with it not working after waking my PC up from sleep mode, as apparently a bunch of people do. Went ahead and updated the drivers to the latest version, which ended up borking my system to no avail. Focusrite USB 1.1 Driver – Win(1.10) For Saffire 6 USB units with 'USB' or 'USB 1.1' printed under the USB connector on the back. Scarlett from Focusrite is a professional plug-in suite that provides a definitive suite of Compression, Gating, EQ, and Reverb for tracking and mixing. Scarlett includes the most popular formats including VST/AU and RTAS (Pro Tools).

This driver will only work with the USB 1.1 version of the Saffire 6 USB (units with a USB port labelled 'USB' or 'USB 1.1').

Please note:
- This driver requires OS X 10.11.2 or above. It will not work with earlier versions of OS X (including earlier releases of 10.11)
- This driver and the Saffire 6 USB 1.1 will not work macOS Catalina

THIS VERSION OF THE DRIVER REQUIRES OS 10.9 or 10.10. If you are running an older version of OSX, please click HERE.

If you are using the USB 2.0 version of the Saffire 6, no driver is required. Simply plug and play.

If you are using the USB 1.1 version of the Saffire please download and install the driver below.

If you are unsure whether your unit is the USB 1.1 or 2.0 version please check the text below the USB port on the back of the device.

Changes since the last release:

Known issues:

- Some Windows 7 PCs that do not have the latest Microsoft Windows updates may show an error regarding driver signing/not available. To resolve this, simply fully update your copy of Windows 7.
- It’s possible to get clicks and pops if streaming audio when also sending/receiving large amounts of MIDI data when the interface is connected to a USB 2.0 port on an AMD-based machine. Intel machines and computers with USB 3.0 ports are unaffected.

To install this package please do the following:

- Make sure that all system requirements are met.
- Save the downloadable package on an accessible location (such as your desktop).
- Locate and double-click on the newly-downloaded file.
- Allow Windows to run the file (if necessary).
- Read EULA (End User License Agreement) and agree to proceed with the installation process.
